Sunshine Palace Madeira - Live Your Sunniest Dream!

Отличный вид с террасы. В комнатах было чисто, была посуда, работали все бытовые приборы. Для кого-то это может быть минусом, но нам было все равно - в спальнях небыло окон. В аппартаментах есть только 1 окно, на кухне. Из плюсов, через агентство, которое занимается сдачей апартаментов, можно арендовать машину. Не требовалась предоплата наперед. Договоренность была только устная. Без депозитов. По приезду нас действительно встретил человек с машиной, мы на месте расплатились за аренду, и разъехались.

Небольшие минусы. Хотелось бы, чтобы в доме были одноразовые тапочки (хоть самые дешевые). В уличной обуви не хочется ходить по дому, а босиком холодно. Дверь в ванной комнате не имеет замка.

This place was just perfect - everything very well prepared. All you could possibly think of missing from home while travelling is there. It is a little bit far from nearest grocery store, but you have to have a car to get there anyway.

Très belle vue quand il fait beau

- Kitchen: one of the best-equipped kitchens of any place I've ever stayed. There was even tupperware - no need to bring a lunch box! Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, plenty of pans, plates, cutlery and so on - 10/10, very thoughtfully done - Bathroom: Unremarkable in a good way - comfortable and functional. The shower takes a few minutes to heat up but you can just turn it on while you brush your teeth or something. Toilet, bidet, shower, sink, mirror, plenty of towels and toilet paper. - Bedrooms - very comfortable and well furnished. The double bed definitely seems a bit larger than a standard double, although I can't confirm for certain whether it's big enough for two very tall people. - Facilities - very modern washing machine and heat-pump tumble dryer, plus a drying rack. If you set the air con to 'dry' mode then any clothes you put on the rack will dry out within a few hours. - Lounge/dining room (open plan with the kitchen) - high quality comfortable furnishings. Nice whether you're eating at the table, curled up on the sofa or watching TV. Plenty of blankets for added cosiness. - Private parking and a terrace - it can be nice to go out on the terrace for a little bit of fresh air in the evening - Location is quiet and fairly well placed if you want to access all parts of the island - The host is very friendly and clearly very concerned to make sure you'll have a good stay! My favourite activities in Madeira: - Levada Moinho is amazing and a short drive away. If you have no fear of heights you can come back along Levada Nova, which is even more amazing but you might fall off a cliff. - Pico Ruivo is absolutely stunning - Porto Moniz natural pools

Mostly this place is great and I wouldn't worry about these criticisms, but I'm sure a few people will find the drawbacks of this place to be dealbreakers, so here they are so you can work out if this place isn't for you: - There aren't any windows in the bedrooms and the twin room in particular gets a bit musty, but if you leave the provided dehumidifier switched on during the day it keeps it under control. This place probably isn't for people who are very sensitive to air quality, but most people will be totally fine. - Decor: the walls are solid white, which means it's missing a certain je-ne-sais-quoi of homeliness. I could imagine that some pictures or wall hangings would go a long way, and make the overall feel of the place live up to the high quality of its furnishings and facilities. The acoustics are quite echoey too, so more soft surfaces would help dampen the sound and make it feel more like a home-away-from-home. - You're unlikely to spend much time on the terrace. It's fine, and definitely nice to have, but there's not enough greenery or good enough views to make up for how loud the cars get as they go up the steep hill. (It's not a busy road, but traffic is fairly regular - it won't bother you indoors but it makes the terrace less appealing.) Maybe in very hot weather in the summer it would be more appealing (it was 15-20C most of the time we were there) - but maybe you'd rather be indoors with the air conditioning on! - Location - there's not a lot to do in the immediate area so you'll want to use your car for basically everything. To some extent that's true everywhere in Madeira, but if you want more local activities you'd be better off in Funchal. If you want more access to nature without driving, then I'm not sure if there are any good options in Madeira, but São Vicente might be worth investigating.

Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche inkl. Waschmaschine und sogar einen Trockner. Unterkunft ist für ein Aufenthalt mit Baby gut ausgestattet, sogar mit Baby Badewanne. Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und geräumig. Meerblick vom Balkon leicht eingeschränkt, sonst aber schöner Blick. Parkmöglichkeit vor dem Haus ist gut.

Beide Schlafzimmer haben keine Fenster, dies war für uns im Vorfeld aus der Anzeige nicht ersichtlich. Durch die eingeschränkte Lüftungsmöglichkeit hatten die Zimmer ein entsprechendes Raumklima. Sonnenuntergang im November wurde leider von einem Haus verdeckt. Unterkunft würde von einer etwas gemütlicheren Beleuchtung profitieren.
