This fine and quaint and cottage furnished style home was a lovely and comfortable stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful. She catered for small extras eg. Coffee, tea and sugar. I will definitely visit again.

Beautiful property with everything you need. Lots of privacy, lovely stoep to sit on with a view of the mountain. Quality products in the house, comfortable, amazing shower and very helpful owner. We loved staying there and appreciated all the little touches.

We had the most wonderful stay at Riverside Country House over the Easter weekend. We spent three nights there and honestly didn’t want to leave. The space just invites you to settle in and enjoy - whether it was lounging on the comfy couches on the stoep, cooking together in the lovely kitchen, or enjoying long meals around the big dining table, it felt like a real home away from home. We made a special Easter lunch and had everything we needed. The upstairs bedrooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, and we loved gathering around the kitchen table while cooking. The house was spotless and really well cared for - it had everything we needed, and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into making it a comfortable space. The garden and outdoor area were absolute highlights. The house is right on the river, so you hear the water flowing all day, which is incredibly calming. We had two sunny days by the pool and two rainy ones - both were magical. We sat outside on the stoep during the rain, watching the river rise and listening to the downpour. There’s a lovely braai area down by the water, a big patch of lawn, and the sunsets behind the river are just beautiful. Lynette, our host, was also really kind and helpful, sharing tips about the area. This was truly one of the best getaways we’ve had. We’ll definitely be back!

Arrangements for key collection were made via WhatsApp. It all worked fine. The house is huge and very well equipped. We felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. There are several restaurants within 10 minutes' walking distance and a number of others on the far side of town. The area seems safe.
