Hvammsvík Nature Resort

El emplazamiento es idílico, súper íntimo, no te molesta nadie. Nuestra casa, club house, era preciosa y tenía todos los detalles para una estancia de lujo. El entorno es muy bonito

Ya que todas las tiendas están relativamente lejos, quizá eché de menos un poco más de servicio en el restaurante, cerraron justo cuando llegamos. En general no es barato pero yo volvería mañana mismo.

What a phenomenal house to rent on a phenomenal property! We were sent clear instructions on how to get there/get into the house, and even though we got there early we were allowed to use the amenities before we were able to check into the house (the gym and games room in the barn are lovely and a great addition!) The house itself was well-appointed with very comfy beds and nice bathrooms - we wish we could have stayed longer!! Staff at the Stormur Bistro at the nearby hot springs are super friendly and helpful, and we learned that a lot of the ingredients come from on-site, such as eggs from the chickens that live near the houses! If you eat there, get the seafood soup - it was the best thing we ate on our entire trip and even our young teen kids rated it "11/10." My youngest got to visit with the chickens which was a highlight for him. The beaches on property are also very cool & worth checking out - we found tons of seaglass, several sea urchins, an orange sea star, and even saw a seal swimming by!

This is actually unrelated to our stay at the resort and more related to the hot springs on site (same property) -- we wished they had more wooden walkways between the hot springs as we were asked to remove our water shoes upon entering the hot springs, but the paths were very rocky and painful to walk on without them. Putting them on and off every time we switched was slightly annoying & wooden walkways would mitigate this.

This was an amazing place. The two bed cottagebis huge, wonderfully designed and very relaxing. We loved the onsite available hot pool and also the springs too for one day. We also saw the northern lights.

We had an incredible stay—truly unforgettable. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the interior is beautifully designed. If you’re staying here, the hot springs are an absolute must—they really elevate the whole experience.

The only bad side is that we couldn't stay longer. :)

Excellent location, amazing views from the cabin, very comfortable room

For the price it would be nice if they included a session at the hot springs. There is a private one just for guests but it’s not controlled like the others are, we tried to get in but it was way too hot.

Amazing location, great for relaxing and northern lights. Loved the little beach side natural hot tub, the massive shared guest house with games in it is also great for a change of scenery. All very high end and comfortable, the portable induction hob worked like a dream. Saw northern lights from the comfort of the sofa, no bumpy coach ride or big coat required 😅 Easy parking and chalets are reasonably far apart too. Incredible stay probably our favourite of the whole trip, not sure I've been anywhere more genuinely relaxing for reconnecting with nature and just letting the day to day stresses of you by.

Be aware in high wind at the wrong angle the chalets sounds like the roof is about to come off, we were genuinely concerned the first night 🤣 Wish there was a microwave, would make a quick lunch easier.

Aucun accueil juste une IA et des numéros qui répondent pas c’est dingue de ne pas pouvoir accéder gratuitement aux sources chaudes à ce prix là ! Y a juste un bassin sur le domaine mais c’est plein de gadou et très mal indiqué c’est super cher pour une prestation type bungalow Pierre et Vacances 500€ la nuit…

Die Lage. Die Ausstattung.

Die Töpfe und Pfannen sind echt mini, zumindest wenn man "gscheit" kochen will. Einmal gab es bei uns Fischsuppe, einmal Nudeln mit Filetspitzen vom Lamm. Den Private Pool gibt es zwar, aber... Keinerlei Infrastruktur. Okay, damit lässt sich umgehen. Aber was, wenn einmal nur gaaanz wenig Wasser drin ist,...? Wo es ja bei normalem Wasserstand schon eher frisch war. Keinerlei Annehmlichkeiten als Übernachtungsgast im Spa. Zum Beispiel eine Mini Vergünstigung. Aber viel toller hätte ich gefunden, wenn wir zwischendurch im Bistro etwas hätten essen können,... Gefallen hat es uns trotzdem seehr. Also warum als Vermieter auch was ändern 🙃.
