NLDe locatie is echt fantastisch en het is gezellig ingericht. Er stond zelfs een kleine kerstboom!
De toegang tot de public pool zou best bij de prijs in mogen zitten. Maar de private pool was ook super.
GBStunning location. The house was cosy, well stocked and comfortable. The private hot spring was incredible. I could hear whales in the evening blowing their spout
Breakfast was very expensive for what it was, bread, hummus, butter, cheese, ham and orange juice for €120!
DKExcellent location, extremely helpful staff and a well-appointed, very cosy house, making it possible for three generations to enjoy spending time together without feeling crowded. We loved the little things, like the quality of the olive oil that was part of the welcome package, and how the staff helped out when we ran out of salt one evening! The thermal baths and not least the little "hidden" thermal pool on the beach were just lovely!
Nothing, really - but a few things could be improved: When presenting the house as for up to 9 people, and knowing that we were a group of 8, it would be great to ensure that there are 8 dining room chairs from the start. It was not a problem - half an hour after we called, staff showed up with the extra chairs. Similarly with glasses - there was no longer 8 of anything (down to 3 or 4 wine-glasses, I think). Again, not a problem - we just mixed what was there. But for a place at the (high!) level of Hvammsvik, it would be great to check that kind of details. :-)
