Exoristoi Nature Suites

It was unbelievably gorgeous and so so peaceful. The island is paradise on earth, and the people, especially the host, were insanely nice and welcoming. Gavdos, and Exoristoi, is a place to come back to again and again, because of the beauty and the amazing energy of the place and the people. Our room was exactly what we imagined, and to be able to see the sun rising above the sea through our window, was something to remember.

I would recommend people who want to stay here to research the ferry boat schedule in advance of booking, we were so excited about this BnB, that we didn't look enough into it before booking our stay. Which resulted in arriving a day late, and having to leave a day early, so so sadly enough. But this was entirely up to us, and Giorgio was unbelievably helpful with getting to Gavdos as soon as we were able to, so it didn't end up being too bad of a mishap!

Location is excellent with amazing view. Convenient to stay on the beach or explore other places.

Room size ok but bathroom is very small, difficult to have a shower without flooding the floor. Poorly managed. The owner was rude the moment we arrived. Before arrival, I asked about transportation from port and he replied to get a taxi. Then, at the port I saw him and asked if he could transfer us with his car. He asked if we had booked ( I thought transport ) and I said no. We took the bus and we didn’t mind. Then we arrive at the hotel and he starts yelling my name and that I didn’t inform him. It would be better to hire someone else to welcome customers. Upon arrival, he immediately started complaining that he is running this hotel with 0.5 staff. If you don’t have staff, just close it. The bathroom was dirty with hair from previous customers. Charging 100+ per night in a remote location, at least have some basic cleaning or charge hostel prices. The owner threw his own private party one of the night and we could not sleep till 2am plus. Annoying part was not only the loud music but also honks and fireworks. Finally, we got sick with stomach flu at the return of our trip. Gavdos island lacks basic hygiene, and is suffering from this for a month now. Asked the owner before we arrived and it seemed that problem was gone but clearly it is not. If you are in a sensitive health group please avoid the island until the mayor has a public announcement with the cause and solution of the issue. This disease was no fun.

This was a perfect stay in every aspect. George's attention to detail, comfort, help, food, dring and information knows no limit. We all felt embraced by the heavenly feeling that this wonderful place draped us in. We've also used the place for astrophotography - another field where George went out of his way to assist us.

I would love to be able to have dinner at the place, and the breakfast is made to perfectio, and holds much to wait for.

We loved everything. Giorgos is a fantastic host that took such good care of us. His place is brand-new and constantly improving. Don’t pay any attention to other comments claiming there is no electricity. There is in fact as well as air conditioning, hot water, and many other ammenities you wouldn’t even imagine coming to an island like Gavdos. And, of course, the dogs ❤️❤️❤️

Charming host. Great location: scenic, secluded, great vista, tranquil, peaceful. Terrace outside the room is great for observing the night sky (no light pollution). Clean, comfortable simple rooms with ensuite. Good Greek breakfast freshly prepared daily.

Great breakfast. The best view on the Island. Very helpful owner.
