Vila Julieta Guesthouse

Run by a charming couple, Vila Julieta is a gem. Sympathetic restoration, tasteful decor and generous breakfast. Lovely garden to relax in.

Although we enjoyed the location it is a little further out of the centre. However, good value Bolt taxis for €3 made return journeys up hill much easier. Please don't be put off, it is a lovely place to stay. Highly recommended.

This was our second visit. It’s a lovely guesthouse very simply but tasteful furnished. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. It’s very clean and comfortable. They encourage you to sit in the garden and enjoy.

There’s nothing we didn’t like about Via Julieta It’s lovely and a great base for exploring the beautiful city of Coimbra. As it’s very hilly our strategy was to walk downtown and take an uber home !

We were given a wonderful welcome by Jonah. He gave us lots of tips and apologised, and said they would have given us a bigger room if they knew we had big suitcases (7 week holiday). The breakfast was great and it was awe inspiring to listen to them jump from being fluent in English, French, German and Portuguese (also Dutch for at least Jonah). The place was spotless with nice communal areas and a garden.

La gentillesse et la disponibilité des hôtes. Les coins de verdures, le jardin où l’on peut prendre le petit déjeuner qui est copieux avec des produits de qualité. Nous recommandons sans problème !

Komplett renovierte Stadt Villa mit guter Lage zum Zentrum (10 min zu Fuß) sehr schön mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und Jona & Sónia sind sehr engagierte und äußerst freundliche Gastgeber.

Tolles Gastgeberpaar, vielsprachig, nettes kleines Frühstück mit allem was das Herz begehrt, offene und helle Einrichtung, sehr zuvorkommend, Jonah hat uns toll beraten was Essen und Sehenswürdigkeiten angeht.
