The hotel has toilet issues, the mold in room blocked my nose and affected my chest

I have to say we haven't been hosted here. As we arrived they told us to go to another hotel they partner up with, called Sun Sea Bar Beach Hotel. So my review is about that and cannot compare or say if it was an upgrade or not. Either way I don't think it's a good practice for the host to do so and to not inform beforehand. The new place was good tbh. Private beach view, pool, AC and overall clean.

Read the good section first about moving to another hotel, not the one we booked. Staff was not so friendly at the beginning. I asked to pay in TZH and they force you to pay in USD. You get changed 5% more if you pay by credit card, where in the rest of the country they charge you 3-4% Breakfast was ok. I had a much better breakfast in cheaper places in Tanzania.

Loistava sijainti Kendwassa suoraan rannalla ja kivat näkymät kattoterassilta aamupalalla. Allasalue hyvä. Mukava henkilökunta, varsinkin respassa. (Sunseabar)

Aamupalalla ei saanut itse valita mitä ottaa, vaan se tuotiin suoraan pöytään. Oli suolaset ja makeet sekasin samalla lautasella. Huoneen patja haisi voimakkaasti ja haju tarttui vaatteisiin. Kylpyhuone haisi hieman homeelle, samoin pyyhkeet. Ilmastointia ei pystynyt säätämään ja se ei toiminut kunnolla. Huonetta ei siivottu päivittäin.

Good hotel price/quality. First line, swimming pool, beach area with sun loungers. Nice restaurant on the beach. Stunning Skybar terrace, rooftop with an insanely cool view, where breakfasts are held. Friendly, very nice staff. Professional receptionist. The room is as in the photo, good shower with hot water. The description is true. One thing - the large closet in my room stood like the Leaning Tower of Pisa towards the bed, it was not very comfortable. And the hotel is great. But to swim in the sea you need to go a little to the right, opposite the boat.
