Kendwa Breeze Bungalows

I had the best time in Kendwa Breeze Bungalows. The staff is incredible, so helpful, kind and willing. The place is very well built, peaceful and silent. Also, if needed, I recommend asking them for Jumbe to drive you around the town. The man is so nice, has a fair price and is extremely punctual. I look forward to coming back to Zanzibar and Kendwa Breeze Bungalows.

Breakfast at Kendwa Breeze were the best we had anywhere on Zanzibar! Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the puppy (but were disappointed that Scooby, the original dog, wasn't there too). General vibe was peaceful and relaxed - a nice change of pace from the beaches at Nungwi.

Tasty breakfast but not much Nutella. Beautiful garden.

Rooms don’t have anything, no safe, no air conditioner, no hairdryer, no shower gel, no shampoo. U have just bed and restroom. U even don’t have hanger for clothes.

Incredible hosts small hotel with only 4 rooms which is great for solo travellers. Near the beach but not on the beach which means it’s intimate and peaceful. Great breakfast and friendly dog. Also they added flowers in my room everyday which was such a nice touch.

Beautiful garden, really nice cosy areas to hang out and a very nice pool. The room was comfy and there were lovely flowers from the garden on the bed and in little decorations in the room. Good breakfast.

We have just finished our 6 nights and Kendwa Breeze. All I can say is the memories and experience there will forever remain with us, it is a little slice of peaceful heaven. The hotel is 5 minutes from Kendwa Beach, close to shops for essentials, and the grounds itself are so beautiful and clean. Especially the pool area, the pool was picturesque clean. Due to the limited rooms, attention to guests is outstanding I think what made the memories was the kindness from the staff, especially Rasta, Sharon and we didn’t catch his name but the Masai man. We worked out with Rasta most mornings and he is such a genuine person and will go out his way for you, as well as Sharon and her beautiful little pup Beauty who even assisted us with ordering a takeaway (the pizza is the best we’ve ever had) The breakfast was also lovely and went out their way for us plenty of times. Although it rained in Kendwa for most of the stay, these people still allowed us to have fun. From the workouts with Rasta to jogging through the village with him, to playing football with the Masai and chatting to Sharon, they are a treasure to the hotel. Asante x
