Poachers Pocket Seaview

The location

The location is beautiful, and very peacefull. Exactly what we wanted.

We enjoyed our stay. But when we booked we were looking for somewhere close to the beach with a restraunt. So we both could have a meal and a couple of drinks without driving. Reviews showed that the food was very good. The photos of Poachers pocket clearly show BAR RESTRAUNT AND ACCOMADATION. WHEN WE ARRIVED WE WERE TOLD THERE IS NO FOOD AT ALL. That was a very big disapointment. And because of the remoteness caused us to have to drive a few miles for an evening meal , also meaning we had to walk or go by car for breakfast If we had known there was NO FOOD we would not have booked here. We feel that the site needs quite a fair amount of renovation and updating.

Excellent location, right on the beach.Our 2 bed apartment was spacious and well equipped. Was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable.

The only minor gripe is that they're not doing food at the moment.

Great place to stay ,right on the beach , clean and comfortable bed 🙂

It was a shame that the kitchen wasn't open for the wholr time we were there as would have been nice to eat at the bar too

The fact that having checked the hotel website stating it could provide food. It was very disappointing to find when we got there that they did not offer any food.

Excellent position right on the beach. Staff friendly and welcoming.

The website advertises the poachers pocket serves food. It has stopped doing any kind of food. Ourselves and others only booked here because of the combination, great location and restaurant.

The views

I was disappointed that there was no food available form the pub. I was informed that this had ceased until November, however, when I booked my 2 night stay the website stated that "breakfast" was available from 09.00.

Fantastic location right on the beach

Room was very small and a bit pricey. No food available which was disappointing as it was one of the reasons we booked. Do had to settle for a take away. Not what we had in mind.
