Location is excellent

Why we had two rooms ?? Toilet was left unflushed No plugs in the bathroom either bath or sink? Mis-matched furniture & decor The mattress on the double bed was a little thin, could be thicker.

The ‘Superior Chalet’ is spacious and literally by the beach. Amazing views of the sea from the bedroom. Excellent large shower room. Easy to park. Very dog friendly. Not too busy even on a bank holiday week. Good WiFi. Loved it so much we stayed an extra night.

A bit more cutlery and glasses would be useful but a minor point.

Clean beds lovely location

Dirty carpets no food in bar and dirty no staff at 9am and no breakfast as was previously stated online. Overpriced. Loud music being played from bar at 10.30pm by staff

Absolutely brilliant find on booking.com. The property could not have been in a better position. So nice to be actually on the beach. The children (and us Grandparents) were very impressed. Two bedroom private apartment. Everything included in the apartment for a family stay, including toiletries and bath towels. Addition of washing machine brilliant. There is an air hockey machine and pool table in the main building. A bar. Staff were friendly, welcoming and made booking in and out extremely simple. It is ideally situated for touring Norfolk. The Poachers Pocket is a delightful find and would definitely recommend.

Although there were facilities to cook in the apartment it would have been nice to have a break from cooking and been able to have breakfast and meals in the main part of the property. There is a fish & chip shop (very good) a few minutes walk up the road but it would have been relaxing to eat in house. Although the bedding was nice quality the double bed was very hard ( that may just be personal choice though).

Perfect position on the beach, clean, spacious and everything you need.

The chalet was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The ensuite was small but clean and perfectly adequate. The main living space was plenty big enough for us and our two dogs and the kitchenette area was really useful to have. The best bit was being able to walk straight out of the chalet and onto the beach - amazing!

Not really a problem for us, but there are no restaurant facilities available at the pub currently, just drinks. This is hopefully a short term issue though.

Location is outstanding and would be hard to beat anywhere in the UK if you enjoy the beach. Beautiful sandy beach not crowded.

A bright green light entering the room made it impossible to sleep on the first night. However, the bar staff turned it off on the second night. If you stay in the chalets, be sure to ask them to switch the lights off when they close.

Location is right on the beach. Beach is all sand with very few pebbles. It’s more like Walcott Beach than Bacton. Room was clean, bed was clean, small two seater settee was clean. Travel size shampoo, shower gel and small bars of soap provided; hand wash and lots of toilet rolls. Dish sponge, washing up liquid, coffee, tea, sugar, sweetener and milk provided. Good sized fridge freezer (3 freezer drawers). Kettle, toaster and microwave. Small wardrobe with a few coat hangers.

Shower screen could have done with a clean as could windows. Cutlery and dishes could have been cleaner, had to wash them with boiling water (teaspoon had coffee stains as did mugs). More cutlery in the form of teaspoon (only 1), cereal spoon (only 1) and only 1 tumbler glass (2 wine glasses) needed. A fan would have been great too, with the heat. Door window cover would be good as lots of light incoming. Would have been good to have been told that no food was available prior to our arrival, would have saved us having to go out again to the Tesco express (around 10 mins), as was planning to eat at the pub. All in all a good stay in great location, just a few small things to take into consideration.
