Contacting property for door entry code etc, smooth process. Gave us excellent information about area, dining, transportation etc.

Clean, modern and quiet. Perfect location for a 3 night stay.

No elevator and lots of stairs.

We weren’t prepared for so many stairs(81) our average age was 70! But if you prepare for that day you only had to go up once.

Location and room were excellent!

Stairs can be a struggle with luggage.

We are unable to review the property, only the hosts, as we never actually stayed at the property we booked. Leading up to the stay we were messaging with the host for 4 or 5 days regarding details of the property. The day of our arrival we were told to meet the hosts at a restaurant near the property. This is where they ambushed us with the fact that the property had no power (it was damaged in a storm the week prior) and that they had rebooked us in a hotel several blocks away not even near the water or with a sea view which is why we booked here in the first place. They did not see the need to reach out to us sooner with options of canceling or an option of rebooking somewhere else. When we expressed our frustration with the lack of communication we were told that they would cancel our reservation and give us our money back at 6pm on the night of our arrival this left us without an option to rebook something else. Very frustrating.

I didn’t stay at the property I booked. First of all I couldn’t find the entrance and wherever I asked (in the restaurant’s underneath where the rooms were, no one had heard of it. I went to the information centre who called the number for the Trecento Rooms who said they would send someone to meet me. A woman arrived but referred to me by a different name. Then told me I was going to stay at a different hotel as the electricity had gone at the Trecento rooms. I had received no warning or information about the change. I was taken to the Cornaro Hotel outside the palace walls and away from the sea front. The hotel Cornaro itself was amazing. However I was disconcerted at being met with no forewarning of the change and also not being in the place I originally booked.
