The property the site the location was excellent. Beautiful peaceful and ended up buying a holiday home there.

It was new and very clean. Plenty space for us.

The holiday park is a lovely setting, with well-spaced individual units and lots of grassed areas in between. The caravan we stayed in was in a good spot, partly under some tall trees and so it was in shade for some of the time (it was very hot and sunny weather). Inside, it was nicely furnished and the bed was comfortable. Good fridge and freezer, a dishwasher (which we didn’t use) and hob plus oven (also not used), microwave and the usual kitchen necessities. All very nice indeed. The living area was reasonably spacious. The bedrooms were a bit small - the double bed took up most of the largest room, and the other two bedrooms had two small single beds squeezed in. We liked the shower room least. The shower was OK, but a tiny basin with a narrow cupboard/mirror above made it very hard to clean one’s teeth without dripping toothpaste etc onto the floor. Towels, bed linen, a tea towel, oven glove, washing up liquid and loo paper were provided, but no soap and no shower gel which surprised us.

Comfortable and good value for money.

Would have preferred the outside seating looking over the forest and river rather than other holiday homes.
