Springwood Holiday Park

Springwood Holiday park was exactly what we needed - travelling as a family of 5. It had all the essentials provided. It was a quiet and clean site, with great amenities. Only found the river walk the day we were leaving, I wish this had been advertised more as it looks like a beautiful walk along the river Tweed. Staff were more than helpful at checkin and whenever we needed anything.

There was no small shop on site. We arrived later in the evening and didn't realise there wasn't a shop and had to travel back into kelso for a jar of milk for our tea and coffee. The drive isn't long, however if you came without a car it's a 25 minute walk.

Our stay at Springwood was self catering but well catered for your every need ,everything supplied for your stay.

The only thing I was not happy about when I was staying that I never booked for a longer stay.

Was so peaceful and near town centre

Lovy location - enjoyed the short walk into Kelso with a selection of shops and choice of places to eat. Pleasant river walks too. Site was so quiet and peaceful. Was nice that my dogs were welcome too.

The location of the site is excellent. Short 15 minute walk to kelso.

Beautiful well equipped caravan

Description didn’t do it justice. We didn’t know it had a dishwasher and towels until we arrived.

The reception staff were friendly & helpful. The park is set outside of Kelso & is very quiet. Caravans were great.

I understood this a dog friendly site. But I wasn't prepared for eating (glasses, crockery & cutlery were covered in dog hair) & wearing that much dog hair. Dog hair everywhere (furniture, ornaments etc) especially after the caravan had supposedly been cleaned. Also stains on soft furnishings.
