Jansyn Hotel Restaurant

Clean, comfy and sizable rooms, good breakfast, in a quiet location still within easy reach of the city centre. The staff were incredibly helpful - special thanks to Nurzat, who got me assistance after falling ill on my day of checkout, and packed up and looked after my luggage until I returned. I ended up booking an extra couple of nights and would recommend.

Everything was dirty - dead moths everywhere, suspicious stains in the shower, pre-opened soap, a broken shower…. none of the appliances were close enough to an outlet to be plugged in. Despite being there in time for breakfast (and having paid for it), no one was at the reception or the restaurant, so we didn’t have it. Would not recommend.

Impossible to find, this app directions do not work. Google maps sends you on unpassable roads. There is nothing in the area we came at night and we couldn't believe that our hotel was the only decent building in the neighborhood. The restaurant was closed except for breakfast which was decent.

The room is big.

We booked two double room but they are insisting that we booked a standard hostel. The hotel staff did not offer any solution as well. The location was quite far from the center of karakol.
