It’s the best hotel in the area

The best place to stay in Kushinagar. Facilities are a bit dated, but it has the charming of the old. The room is spacious, and the mattress is comfortable. Everything is very clean. The guys at reception are not nice but correct. The restaurant staff, Harendra and Satish are the best. Kind and ready to help. The food is delicious and clean. I love it.

Great location, walking distance to all the sites. Food is great (both buffet and a la carte).

The toilettes of 2 of the 4 rooms we booked did not worked during our 2 day stay and the hotel did not fix them, even if we asked several times.

FRONT DESK MANAGER STAFFS ATTITUDE & RESTAURANT MANAGERS ATTITUDE. FRONT DESK MANAGER DIDNOT ALLOW TO CHECK IN UNTILL FULL PAYMENT... AS I HAD BOOKED AND CONFIRMED THROUGH BOOKING.COM, I supposed booking.com confirmation would deduct the amount from my card. but later came to know from hotel front desk that imperial kushinagar doesnt have any link with booking.com for payment confirmation. we didnt have enough Indian currency, but my visa card worked fortunately so was allowed to check in. anyway... hotel is good.

Very clean comfortable room with a bath tub, good food, nice staff and a tuk tuk ride from the Parinirvana Stupa. What more can you ask for?

There weren't many offerings in Kushinagar so I thought I'd give this one a go. It looked fancy and it is - and a bit pricier than other hotels in India in general. But it was great - clean, spacious, well-appointed. Staff were friendly too.

It was a little faded in parts - but still overall very comfortable!

The Imperial Kushinagar is an excellent hotel, located on Buddha Marg (Buddha Road) midway between the Parinirvana Stupa and the Ramabhar Stupa, the main landmarks of Kushinagar. The quality of the rooms, of the service and of the food puts this hotel on the same high level with other 4 or 5 stars hotels from Western Europe. I had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel's restaurant each day of my stay, and the food was excellent. I was very happy with the service provided by hotel's staff, such as Harendra from the restaurant and Rahul from the front desk area, who were both very helpful. As a matter of fact, all hotel employees have been polite and helpful. I did use laundry service from the hotel, and they did a great job cleaning my dirty and smelly shirts and jeans. In a nutshell, I do recommend this hotel, I was feeling good there. If I will visit again Kushinagar, I will stay in the same hotel for sure.
