George Street Apartment

Central location, close to everything. Quiet. Has a washing machine and drying rack. Small but adequate kitchen with all the basic equipment.

Shower head support was loose and the shower head pointed into the wall at a 45 degree angle instead of into the shower! Couldn't fix it. On the eco setting the water just dribbles out of the shower head (partly because it is pointed into the wall). If you take it off the eco setting, it fluctuates between hot and cold.

The greatest asset of this apartment is its location, as all strategic points of interest are within easy reach. The apartment is clean and cosy. You will be greeted by narrow doors and stairs in a heritage building, so be prepared for that.

In the kitchen, it's time to replace pans and some utensils, as scratched teflon is harmful to health. Perhaps steel utensils would be a better choice, as scratched pans are a common problem in apartments for rent.

It was very conveniently located and quiet.

We were told there would probably be free parking but unfortunately there wasn’t. We managed to get a park close by most times and not pay too much, just a pain to go out at 9am to pay for the parking till we were ready to go out for the day.

Central and clean

In the heart of Oban. Was centralized, allowing us to walk around.

Location was perfect

Cleanliness of kitchen, walls dirty cooker old. Bathroom updated and clean however towels were not washed properly and smelled damp

The bed linen was crips and fresh.

The microwave and washing up bowl was dirty.

Location can't be beaten. It was very clean and larger than we expected with a full size fridge/freezer.

Shower water pressure was just passable, the cooker could be replaced with something more modern and quicker, the central heating wasn't on when we arrived so it was really cold and took hours to warm up properly and the bedroom door to the twin room doesn't shut.
