George Street Apartment

The property was very central, a short walk to all local attractions and restaurants. Apartment had everything you could need. Was bigger than we expected. Perfect for a family.

Good kitchen facilities

Shower was inconsistent, temperature kept changing while on one setting. Would prevent booking for a longer stay. TV remote was inconsistent in working, due to bad battery holder and/or faulty batteries Really too cold, a good few more heating facilities would have been appreciated, we had windows closed, blinds down and curtains closed and radiator on and doors closed to try and keep heat in but didn't help. Milk sachets were months out of date too so that wasn't appreciated

The location.

WiFi wasn’t working for us until the last evening.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. It was good to have toiletries provided, shower gel, shampoo etc. The kitchen was well equipped with anything you might need to do simple meals, and it was a nice touch to have some biscuits provided, we were able to make a cup of tea or coffee when we arrived, which is just what you need after travelling. The location is excellent, with plenty of amenities close by and lots to see and do.

The shower head did not fit in the holder properly, so kept hanging down whilst you were showering, bit annoying, otherwise the bathroom facilities were great. I did find some food crumbs in-between the fridge and counter and there were some drawings under the sofa, obviously left by previous guests, other than this the property was clean and comfortable, the guest information was thorough and informative with clear instructions.

This was an excellent location, right in the middle of town. It was very close to catch a ferry to the islands, and a bus when we were leaving Oban.

Excellent location overall great property.
