Redcot holiday bungalow

Kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need, beds were a little to soft for me but that’s personal choice, very quiet location, a bit expensive for 2 night stay but it was for a wedding so worth it.

The facilities were incredible, everything you could possibly need was catered for in abundance. The rooms were lovely and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen/diner was large and spacious and well stocked. For us the location was superb as we were attending a family wedding in a nearby venue.

It would have been nice to meet the owner, so that we could thank him in person for opening his home up to us.

We had a great stay at Redcot for a family wedding down the road. The check in process was really simple and the house was easy to find. Lots of parking space. It is very spacious and comfy, and had extra touches like lots of spare blankets and a kettle in each room. Kitchen was well equipped, with crockery easy to find and appliances easy to use. It felt clean and organised. Lots of mirrors for getting ready, hair dryers in each room, lots of closet space for hanging up clothes, iron and ironing board easy to find and use; all details which made getting ready for the wedding really easy!

Hand soaps could have done with being topped up, we didn't bring any as thought it would be provided but were mostly empty, and bath panel and shower door handle were a bit broken. Neither impacted our stay massively though, we were just worried about accidentally breaking them more!

lots of room for 6 adults and a toddler! The upstairs was ideal for my son, daughter in law and 2 year old. The owners provided us with a stair gate. There was a Christmas tree and some other decorations up, which was lovely for my grandson. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped, I was able to cook a full Boxing Day meal for 7 quite easily. I did have a slight issue with the ovens as I couldn’t find any instructions, however, this could have been resolved I think, if I’d phoned the helpful owners, but I managed without bothering them. There were toys and board games provided and many cd/dvd’s. The huge tv in the comfortable dining area was a big hit with my son! There was plenty of off road parking for our 2 cars and the garden area looked like it would be a lovely area to relax in the summer. All in all it was a really enjoyable couple of days for a family group with ages ranging from 2 to 87!

There was some damp in the bathroom, but I think this could easily be resolved.

Lots of space. Good for groups. Kitchen was well equipped. Quiet location. Playground opposite the property.
