Solana Wellness Retreat

I love the closeness with nature, the place is really a retreat. Love the whole concept and vibe. The breakfast was nice too.

There is a construction going on near by, and dinner menu was fair

The rooms were incredible. Also loved how sustainable and eco friendly the property was.

Despite the pool using natural purposesto cleanse the water it still looked dirty and uninviting. There was also minimal sitting around the communal areas to relax and enjoy the views.

The property has a beautiful design! The view of the room on the waterfall is really stunning! The staff is super friendly and efficient. We asked for their support via WhatsApp and they replied promptly at any hour!

Unfortunately though we could not sleep because of the noise caused by animals (like frogs and big insects) that were on the terrace during the night. The doors are not well isolated so we could hear everything. If you don’t mind the noises than this place is great

A beautiful new resort. Tasteful, simple, natural furnishings and quality design throughout the resort with simplicity and innovation. Food was vegeterian/vegan and delicious. The staff were kind and helpful. We didn't have time to participate in the Yoga offered but it was nice to have the option. The reception area was very nicefully designed and welcoming. Rooms, bathrooms and the hotel made you feel as if you were away on a retreat and tucked away from the center busyness. 

Road pavement may need improvement for the drive to the entrance.

The arquitecture of the hotel is beyond perfect. The rooms are both relaxing, quiet and perfectly decorated. The view from the lobby, the nutritious breakfast, the morning yoga and the spa services make of this place the perfect place for recharging and recovering. My husband got sick right after arriving to Bali and the staff made sure they covered all of his needs; we scheduled a couple of acupuncture sessions and in no time he was feeling great again. Meanwhile, I got to enjoy the pool and the fantastic yoga classes in which the professor Pebi made sure people from all levels of expertise could participate. Oh and that breakfast! yummm

The location is a bit far from the centre of Ubud -which is also great because the place is quiet- but it is important to make sure you know you'll have to commute everywhere. Renting a scooter or downloading Grab of Gojek can solve this minor inconvenience in a heartbeat. Just plan for it. The wifi connection is definitely not the best. It's there, and you can probably use it for the basics, but don't plan for a full on video conference or video streaming.
