Large Country Farmhouse

Just returned from our 3 day break over the New year with our friends and we all really enjoyed our stay, the farmhouse was everything we were hoping it would be with real log fire with a cosy atmosphere, could not have been happier, thankyou.

Nothing negative to say at all.

Peaceful rural location. Space for children to play and explore. Excellent, sheltered outdoor eating area. Very well equipped house, spacious with excellent bathrooms.

Self catering. Location was excellent to attend wedding event. Would recommend if using the Outbarn.

Towels were poor quality, 1 hand towel was torn. Mattresses need changing, urgently especially master bedroom. Only a small 2 slice toaster. Kitchen was cramped, table was in the way of the wall cupboard. During the open day visitors tried to enter side of the property, should have been roped off.

The most wonderful property in an idyllic setting. My family and I stayed in this remarkable farmhouse to be close to the venue where my son was getting married. There are not enough superlatives to describe this property. Everything is exceptional . My brother in law tried to hide so he did not have to leave ! It is truly the most sublime property I have ever had the pleasure to stay in . Even the weather did not dampen our view ! It was very very difficult to leave . We would so love to return very soon.

Property was lovely and clean, plenty of space and pizza oven was great!!! As a big family there was space for us all, as well as the dogs. The owners were such lovely welcoming friendly people too 🥰

Nothing really. I guess just that there were no locks on the bathroom doors however, that’s just being really picky. We loved it there!

Awesome host who looked after us well. Gorgeous house in a gorgeous location.

Unfortunately we didn’t think some of the areas were particularly clean. The bathrooms and kitchen were. However, the bathroom doors couldn’t be locked and some of the bedroom doors didn’t close properly. We had booked the house for our son’s wedding which was at the Outbarn. Taking into consideration that the farmhouse is on the site of the wedding venue we were really dissatisfied with the level of cleaning. We had a very expensive wedding dress to hang up along with a number of full length bridesmaids dresses as well as everyone’s dresses and suits. I had to clean the tops of cupboards and wardrobes along with a chair in order to be able to hang the dresses. A lot more consideration needs to be taken regarding the requirements of the house. Even hooks attached to some of the beams would suffice. We’ve paid a fee to you for repairs on 2 items, however we’re not aware that the damage was caused during our stay. My daughter and her husband stayed in that room and have said that the curtains were either open or closed. They didn’t use the tie backs. They also didn’t use the chair so we’re not sure how that could have happened. Unfortunately we can’t prove that it wasn’t any of our guests. The house was lovely and suited the needs of a number of a number of guests. However, we do feel that you need to address these issues we’ve raised. Tracey and Rick Marson

Wonderful place for a group to spend time and as a base for some beautiful walking. Pubs around excellent for food too. Sun terrace and pizza oven lovely spot

Beautiful house- well decorated and appointed. Delightful location.

Master bathroom shower scalding hot and thermostat did not work so could not use the shower. Requirement to strip beds on final day is surprising at this price.
