Surrounded by beautiful gardens, quiet and peaceful. It felt like you stepped back in time!

I loved everything about the property, but must admit the food servings were a little too large for me for breakfast! They fed us so well we were never left hungry.

The ryoken staff were extremely welcoming, the room was immaculate, the food was Michelin Star quality, and the atmosphere was serene and surreal. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a truly traditional ryoken experience. Oh and the onsen was amazing. I don't have any reference for what other onsens are like but for a first experience I feel I've most likely been spoiled in regards to other lesser onsen.
