Hideaway Homestay kandy

This homestay was amazing. Vipul and his wife are amazing people and are so welcoming and nice. We loved our stay there. Vipul drove us around in kandy and showed us some of the nice spots kandy has to offer! Clean rooms and good breakfast as well. I would definitely recommend everybody to stay here is your looking for a beautiful room with a nice view of the mountains.

It was very clean and we had a comfortable stay. The host was very attentive.

This is amazingly nice and quiet place, and one of the best guesthouses I ever been The owners are amazing people, very friendly and kind. Everyday I was enjoying tasty breakfast, room was clean, bathroom is modern and good working. View out of room is amazing and I feel really comfortable. It is placed far from Kandy, but owner provides non expensive transfer to Kandy and also tuck-tucks are available.

The most amazing homestay ever! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Firstly, the room has high ceilings and a beautiful balcony as well as a true king sized bed (one of the comfiest beds I have slept on). Secondly, the family is so kind and helpful. Truly felt like family staying here- they helped me order Uber eats to the house and you also have the option of ordering breakfast, lunch and dinner for an additional cost with the homestay. I ordered breakfast with them and it was delicious and worth the cost! Fresh fruits and omelette and dosas with chutney (there are also continental options). It is about a 15 minute drive to town so you are away from the noise and bustle of Kandy city (after spending time during the day in Kandy I was really happy to have my oasis at night). Tuk tuks to and from the stay cost 600-800 depending on your driver, but Vipul will drive you anywhere you need for a price if you have a hard time getting a Tuk Tuk. Everything was so clean and fresh, the bathroom was modern and I was able to do laundry with them for a small cost as well. I am going to miss this place and will return back if I am ever in Kandy again :)

Quiet location with great views 15 minute from centre. 800 for a tuk tuk. But owner also dropped me off and made sure I had everything I needed. Even a sarong to get into the temple. I’m a bloke..

Hands down one of the best Booking experience we’ve ever had! The hosts were so kind, it felt like family. I would literally recommend everyone to book this Homestay. Location and view are amazing and the hosts could not have been nicer! Thanks again to Vipul and his wife for everything ☺️☺️

The view and the calm surroundings were the main attraction of this beautiful property. The early morning view will surely take your breath away. Hideaway home stay is a very clean place. The host and his family's hospitality were great. The food tasted super. They provided us with scrumptious lunch, dinner, and breakfast for a very minimal cost. The host went out of his way to take us to a beautiful seanic location called Ambuluwawa. All of us (including our grown-up kids) enjoyed the stay very much, and we are looking forward to surely visiting again.

I really enjoyed staying at this homestay, I stayed for 1 day and it was super relaxing with the view, the climate was amazing as the terrace was open and has a panoramic view. We were served breakfast and it was outstanding with Sri Lankan cuisines and many variations.

The host is very friendly and helpful. Because we booked last minute, 2 hours before arrival, they didn't expect us. But they did everything to make our stay the best! The woman can cook very good and gave us lovely diner and breakfast. The room was big and clean and had an amazing view!

A very relaxed and comfortable place to stay. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. And they treated us with delicious breakfast. Overall it is a very tidy and clean place with a beautiful view of mountains and greenery.

I have no negative comments to make as the it is a my kind of place to stay at during a short vacation.
