Hideaway Homestay kandy

Beautiful house, owned by kind hearted people 🙏🏼 bohoma istouti! Can 100% recommend. Its a quite place with lovely view. Cozy beds and big bathroom. Everyrhing was clean and wellmade. It felt like a home. Food was very good :) prices were fine. If you come by tuktuk pay attencion its a steep street. We miss pinky and shelly 🐶🐕

Away from the chaos of the city centre. Surrounded by the trees with the nice view from the terrace. Hosts were kind and helpful.

The mattress first and foremost, it was soft. The room and view was very pleasant and relaxing.

There is nothing I disliked.

It was an exceptional stay. A perfect place to start my Sri Lanka trip. Vipul and his wife were amazing hosts, very welcoming, caring, and helpful in every way possible. Vipul showed me some interesting sightseeing around Kandy, so we made the most out of my short stay! Location is outside from town so you will have no city noises around you, just beautiful nature sounds. Anyone will have a great sleep there as well. Can recommend also for solo travellers like me. Thanks so much!

Such a wonderful place. Vipul and Kosala will do everything to make you feel welcome and even home away from home. House, rooms and surroundings are beautiful, Vipul does great tours around Kandy, and Kosala makes the best food as in the best food you could ever wish for. There's a relaxed atmosphere, and it's close to botanical garden and a short drive from busy Kandy downtown. 6 out of 5 stars 💥

I loved everything about this home.

I had an amazing time here. The owners are so nice, they cooked me delicious food and took me on a tour of the whole Kandy!! They are so helpful and kind. The room was super clean and fresh, the Wi-Fi is super good and breakfast was 10/10!! I really recommend this place!

Awesome hosts, one of the best homestay feels. It’s peaceful place with nice view to mountains and stupa. Despite the city center of Kandy is 10min tuktuk drive away, you only hear nature sounds such as crickets, birds, rooster in the morning and sometimes dogs barking. The style and cleanliness are top notch. Vipul and Kosala are so kind and great to get to know to. Vipul will take you to places and offers guidance while letting you explore yourself as well and all with good prices. Kosala creates tasty local delicacies with attention to quality and preparation methods, without burning our western tastebuds with too much chili or curry. And if these are not enough to keep most of us coming back, they have two adorable family dogs. There is Shelly – beautiful, friendly and well taken cared of family dog who loves company and cuddling. Her sister’s name I cannot remember but she also loves cuddles. P.S. Ask Vipul to pick you up. It will be the same cheap price as with PickMe, and it will be more convenient since he knows exactly where to drive and he can already welcome you while driving.

Had a great time with these lovely people. They are always there for you and cook delicious food. I felt very much at home there. The room has a beautiful view of the nature. I would highly recommended!

I couldn’t be more happy with my stay at Hideaway. It was one of the best stays I had in the whole of Sri Lanka. The owners are incredibly sweet and also very nice to talk to. We chatted about almost everything, they cooked us amazing food and I really felt part of their family. Can’t wait to get back and stay there again!
