"Very much enjoyed staying."

Beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

Surprised to have to strip the beds and empty bins. This is an awful relic of covid and shouldn’t be necessary. Having left the house perfectly tidy, this really took the shine off our final morning.

Bed linen was excellent quality. Beds very comfy Lovely wood burner Felt like home. Shop and pub really near by. Road was very busy but didn't disturb our sleep

Beautiful little house with everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Fantastic cooking facilities, brilliant range of books and magazines. Gorgeous bathroom. Unexpected hidden garden where we enjoyed dinner most evenings watching the sun go down behind the spire. We wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Sadly the neighbours drains smelt horrific and this often went into the house, though no fault of this property it was a bit pongy on the hottest day!

A beautiful cottage which was really well appointed, everything you could possibly want and extras like a welcome hamper and fresh flowers, it was all lovely.

Good to be aware that the property is on the main road through Baslow so if you are troubled by road noise it may affect you.
