Truly special location with the water lapping. Sensational balcony. Full equipped with everything you need for a great stay. Bed comfortable good shower with excellent water pressure. The owners have the cafe downstairs is such an added bonus for whatever you need for drinks and food if you don’t want to self cater.

Perfect location, balcony right on the water seeing the most beautiful sunset. So peaceful sleeping to the sounds of the waves from the lake , the restaurant below is also ran by the owner and has exceptional food, ate there for both breakfast and dinner. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location and super relaxing. The owners cafe was downstairs - they were really accommodating, welcoming and helpful and the cafe has the best food 😋 Would loved to have stayed longer - thank you so much for a wonderful stay

We had never been to Como before and weren't sure what to expect. Varenna Caffe Apartment was the absolute perfect place to experience Como. I saw the pictures online of the view but it was hard to do it justice! The porch sat out on an upper floor at water's edge with the sounds of the lapping waves, the view of the pristine lake, the mountains everywhere, the Alps, the twinkling village lights across the lake at night, and the incredible sunset! The apartment was so homey and spacious-well-appointed kitchen and bath, a separate sitting area, wonderful mattress in the bedroom. Andrea was so helpful in letting us in, showing us the place, and helping us one night with a question we had. You are above the Verenna Caffe but the sounds just added to the unique experience, and didn't stay late. I recommend the hosts and apartment wiht greatest enthusiasm.

This apartment is an absolute gem - such an amazing location, right on the waterfront. The hosts from the bistro downstairs could not have been more helpful and we loved their menu. Everything you could need has been thought of in the apartment - really well equipped - just wish we'd been able to stay longer.

Some extra pillows would have been good as they were quite thin.

Had the most wonderful stay at this fabulous property! The host was warm and even came to pick us up from the train station! Beautiful apartment and breathtaking view!

Andrea was very helpful - he picked us up from the the train station in the rain! I wonderful time and in the best area of Varenna. Loved the prosecco and a lovely view from the balcony of the lakeshore. Also, the cafe below was perfect!

Everything was perfect -

We loved our stay here for our honeymoon. The view was exceptional and our host, Andrea, was extremely accommodating. The restaurant downstairs is also delicious and very popular. We would come back again.
