Peppercorn Beach Resort

The team is amazing and the breakfast fruits are one of the best. However, that is not enough for a pleasant holiday.

We had high expectations for our booking based on the reviews and the photos listed by the property which don’t reflect the current condition. However, this was the worst stay we had in Vietnam. The rooms need a complete renovation and especially a full cleaning. I have seen better public toilets in Vietnam compared to the bathroom from our room. The tiles were extremely dirty and the shower didn’t have enough pressure. They ask you to throw all the toilet in a garbage bin, but they are doing cleaning on request instead of daily. There are not enough sun beds for all the guests in the resort and you might end not having where to stay on the beach. The beach is not actually a beach, but a raised platform made on which they put some sand so it looks like a beach in photos. The kayaks had better days and you can find a paddle only if you are lucky. Water was leaking into the kayak that we used. The food is good, however a bit bland and you run out of options after you eat a few times there. Getting outside of the property is not fun either because it’s all construction nearby and full of stray dogs. One day 3 stray dogs got on the resort’s beach too. The gym is a big junk of rusty equipment. I would go elsewhere.

It would have been great if there were boat trips available to Starfish beach.

Ideal for those who want to relax and stay away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were kind, welcoming, and ready to help. We felt like home immediately. Overall, it was a relaxing stay.

Great location, on the beachfront. Restaurant is fantastic, wonderful food options and we didn't feel the need to go elsewhere for any meals. Very kindly upgraded our room to the beachfront, comfortable beds.

One staff member made us feel quite uncomfortable early on when we requested bottled water, somewhat lecturing us about the environmental impact despite us explaining that we'd gotten sick already in our trip from what we were told was safe. Would have appreciated more understanding and less judgment in this situation. There is still a lot of works going on which is fine, but little things could make the stay better e.g. better lighting on the walkways to rooms and more stable walkways.

It’s just beatiful, very nice located directly at the beach. Very nice space allover, spacious houses and a very friendly staff! I will come back

There were some constructions but they have to be at some point and it wasn’t too noisy! So all good

A beautiful place to stay with very friendly helpful staff and very good breakfast and restaurant. Room was very clean and well maintained. Gardens and pool were beautiful
