Laughing Leopard Trinco

The owner is a very nice guy and is great in creating a social vibe. Private rooms have an AC and are very big. They also have a Water refill station for free.

The whole Hostel does look messy. They should definitely improve the cleanliness, especially the kitchen.

Very social hostel, but you can also find your own space if you just have an evening where you want to be on your own. We were staying in a private room, which was very spacious and clean with a very good working AC. The family dinner was delicious and a very fair price. The staff is lovely!!

The breakfast could definitely be improved (a little bit more variety). It would also be nice if it could be a bit earlier (on the blackboard it was announced for 8 but it was almost never ready before 8:45).

The loveliest stay in the Laughing Leopard. I had a private room and it was perfect for what I needed, very close to anywhere I wished to visit within Trinco. The atmosphere of the hostel was perfect, always others around if you wished to socialise and the family dinners each night were a great chance to catch up with one another. Jay and Huzefa were brilliant hosts, so friendly and always willing to answer any questions/ give advice!

Best place in Trincomalee to chill and get to know people. 2 minutes walk to the beach and really friendly staff. 10000% recommend the stay in this hostel!

We had an amazing stay here. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the vibe in the hostel is phenomenal. J and the staff are very friendly and you can always have a good laughter with them. They are offering a family dinner every evening which is very delicious and cheap. They also organized different tours for us for a fair price. We can only recommend staying here! Thanks for the amazing time, we will come back😊

Loved it here! Soon as I arrived I was taken in by the 2 owners there who were really nice and great fun! I was in a shared dorm which was very spacious and the beds were super confi. The bathroom was large and super clean. The family dinner is a must and I loved how we could all sit together around the huge communal table. Had great fun here and met really cool people.
