Sapa Hillcrest homestay

Very lovely homestay with many types of foreigners if you are solo traveling and want the option to be social. It has great trekking tours with rutes around Sapa where you don't meet big groups trekking and many times you don't meet any. Pè is a great and funny host, and you feel safe going around with him. He's brother the same. The food is great, and much of the meat or ingredients are from the homestay or the village. The Hmong have an interesting story and way of living, and the family at the homestay is really sweet and humble. They have a nice dog and a cat and lovely kids. The rooms are simple, and the beds are nice, and for the price, it's a great value. It has been my best stay in Vietnam and will come back in the future. The views are amazing, and you can see both sides of the mountains.

Beautiful location in the rice fields. Pe was the most amazing host, we had the best stay ever. His kindness and thankfulness is something I’ll always remember. We had the most fun going trekking with Pe, his brother and other guests who were staying. His family is also lovely. I would recommend this place to everyone. I hope I can come back sometime!

Everything is amazing. The best place to stay on sapa.

De host is ontzettend gastvrij en vertelt je graag over alles wat je wil weten. Hij is daarbij enorm behulpzaam en hij spreekt goed Engels. In dit verblijf heb je echt het idee dat je een authentieke ervaring hebt van het leven in Sapa en geen toeristische ervaring. Het eten dat voor ons gemaakt was, was heerlijk en daarnaast geniet je hier van een prachtig uitzicht over de rijstvelden.

Het weggetje naar de accommodatie is wat uitdagend, maar de host kwam ons heel vriendelijk ophalen aan het begin van de weg, dus dat vormde niet echt een probleem.

Al Sapa Hillcrest homestay siamo stati benissimo! La famiglia di Pe e Tài è stata accogliente, generosa e gentilissima con noi. Abbiamo passato tre giorni insieme a loro, avendo la possibilità di immergerci davvero nella vita quotidiana delle risaie di Sapa grazie alla disponibilità della famiglia di farci conoscere la natura circostante e i loro costumi. L'esperienza a Sapa ha avuto senso grazie a questo magnifico homestay che per fortuna esiste e ci ha permesso di entrare in contatto con la cultura del luogo allontanandoci il più possibile dalle strutture ricettive turistiche recenti che stanno distruggendo questo luogo meraviglioso ❤️

Non ho nulla da criticare.

Abbiamo deciso di venire qui per due notti (poi prolungate a tre) perché la posizione, fuori dal centro, ci convinceva e soprattutto perché c’erano soltanto recensioni positive. Possiamo confermare: tutte le aspettative sono state pienamente soddisfatte! Se cerchi un posto autentico, lontano dal caos della città, questo è quello giusto. L’accoglienza della famiglia è speciale e, senza voler banalizzare, è stata per noi una vera esperienza umana. Ci siamo trovati benissimo sia con Pe – uno dei due fratelli che gestiscono l’homestay – sia con gli altri ospiti. Questo è un vero homestay: senza fronzoli, semplice e genuino, che ti avvicina all’etnia H’Mong che abita la valle. Le camere sono essenziali, la vista è meravigliosa e il cibo è buono. Abbiamo affittato anche il motorino, ma da questa posizione si possono fare belle passeggiate a piedi, quindi non è strettamente necessario (anche perché, al momento, le strade intorno all’homestay possono risultare un po’ impegnative se non si è pratici). Volendo, si può partire per un giro con Pe o con il fratello Tay. Consigliatissimo!

The stay was great, right in the middle of the beautiful rice terraces, and away from the unappealing center of Sapa! Pe and his family are the absolute highlight of this place, they were super kind and welcoming. Plus the bungalow location has an incredibly nice view! Totally recommended.
