The room and the ensuite bathroom were clean. I was travelling with a child as her guardian, and she needed the heating on. Although it was too early in the year to turn the heating on, the person in charge helped to put the heating on and brought us an extra blanket. She was very helpful in this respect.

After the first night, we asked the room service not to come in because the child who was with me was ill and needed to rest. We said that the room did not need any cleaning and we just needed fresh cups, but we were told that we should either wash our cups or vacate the room for cleaning, and it was not possible for them to get the dirty cups at the door and give us clean cups. This was very strange and I didn't really like the attitude. Also, we wanted to check out, there was no one at the reception, so I had to video record myself leaving the key at the reception desk just in case. I can, however, understand that these things may happen in small guest houses.

Very convenient for public transport. Lovely big room with a good size bathroom. Impressed by the amount of storage in the bathroom. A fridge was an unexpected but welcome surprise as well as anadditionall portable heater. The bed was comfortable too.

The small lights by the bed didn't work - not sure if they were supposed to, but it would have been nice.

Warm, quiet and comfortable

No plug in the washbasin, which then took 20 minutes to drain after cleaning teeth - it’s awkward to have to use the shower just to wash your hands. Lukewarm coffee at breakfast, but you could top it up with hot water from the kettle

Friendly helpful staff. Great location for tube.

Good location, a walk from Woodside train station. The room was clean and there’s pretty garden to look at as you have breakfast 😊😊
