Alt var perfekt

The location was ideal for our needs and the view was nice. The washing machine was a bonus and definitely appreciated.

The lack of face clothes, hand towels and bath mat in the bathroom was unfortunate (but the heated floor was great!)

-Fantastic location, close to centre and the Ferry port too. On a very quaint and quiet street. -Comfortable and clean -Ideal for exploring Bergen for 2 days -Very responsive and helpful host -Kids loved the double bunk bed -Lovely bathroom and shower

-Strange entryway into the apartment with flickering light and very narrow staircase , might be tricky for someone with mobility issues. -Basic utensils in the kitchenette, we needed a bread knife for example. A tea towel and dishwasher tablets would have been helpful in the kitchen. Totally fine for a short stay if you aren’t planning on eating in, so was fine for us.

Upon arrival opening the main entrance door there was an overwhelming smell from the upstairs apartments. There was a lot of random junk and mess in the communal hallway which was a fire hazard and unwelcoming. the stairs were dangerously steep and the apartment door opens onto the first step. It wasn't clean. Unfortunately we arrived pretty late to find there were hairs in the beds, some kind of brown mess on the headboard and the mattress on the bottom bunk was like a trampoline and collapsed into the middle. There were hairs and dirt in the drawers, food mess in the microwave, dishwasher and oven. The sofa (not the same as in the photos) had dirt on it and there was a weird smell, possibly stale smoke and damp. It had definitely not been cleaned. The microwave was missing the cooking plate so wouldn't have been able to be used, the dishwasher door was falling off and we didn't feel at all happy staying there with our children and so we had to find alternative accommodation.
