Elegant Urban Apartment

Cosy apartment in a cute historic pocket of Bergen but still very close to walk to the city centre, ferry terminals and shops. Lars (host) was very helpful and responsive.

Quite a nice location in renovated apartment in an older house in Bergen. Generally clean and functional. Very pleasant.

For older people the steep stairs to the first floor level were a bit of a challenge when carrying luggage. One of the double beds was hard up against a wall. Renovations seemed a work in progress.

It was really without a problem. Everything we needed was provided. It was modern in an old building. A big TV with media support, a good coffee maker, a good and big shower, plenty of light and windows. It was pretty quiet and the beds were comfortable. Best part, since we were tourists, was great location. Just a few blocks from everything we needed and wanted to see but a very quiet neighborhood.

A washer but no dryer. Could have used one or two living room type chairs.

The location was perfect.

The bed in the master bedroom was faulty and broken, when asked about it he said he will find a solution but he didn’t even reply after that. The internet didn’t work and when asked him about he said the same thing he said about the bed but he ignored us a second time.

Central location; spacious and comfortable. Great shower.

No kettle, no microwave, no plug for sink, no washing up liquid, no dishwasher tablets, no shower mat. We improvised, but as frequent travellers who stay regularly in Booking.com accommodation, we feel these items should be standard for obvious safety and sanitary reasons.
