Milkyway Holiday Resort

Prasad ist ein Gastgeber, der einem förmlich die Wünsche von den Augen abliest. Die einzelnen Bungalows liegen abseits der Hauptstraße von Utawatuna in einem wunderschönen Garten mit Palmen, Teich, Pfauen. Alles ist einfach, jedoch sauber; perfektes Moskitonetz und A/C sowie Ventilator. Wer also nicht direkt am Strand sein muss und Ruhe liebt, für den ist diese Unterkunft wunderbar.

Für meine 2 Tage Aufenthalt nichts.

De tuin is prachtig, alsof je een stukje mini jungle om je heen hebt. De host is top, komt regelmatig even bij je checken en je een verse kokosnoot aanbieden. De douche was verbazingwekkend krachtig. Fijne airco ook. De kamer is prima qua prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

Her en der wat ongedierte maar dat is logisch in een tuin.

The staff are absolutely incredible! So sweet and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and enjoy your stay. Property itself is insanely gorgeous with a little lagoon and lots of palms and wildlife, they even have us fresh coconuts from the tree! They did our laundry for us too for an amazing price and so fast!

Accom is a little basic but it’s the jungle, enjoy!

Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt, Unterkunft mitten in der Natur mit vielen Tieren. Alles super! Gunatilaka war ein sehr herzlicher Gastgeber, es gab eine frische Kokosnuss zur Begrüßung und täglich leckeren Kaffee am Morgen.

I recently stayed at Milkyway Holiday Resort, and it was an unforgettable experience. The resort is surrounded by beautiful jungle views, making it feel peaceful, refreshing, and close to nature. Waking up to the sound of birds and rustling leaves was truly magical. One of the highlights of my stay was the wildlife around the resort. I spotted squirrels playing in the trees, a monitor lizard (varan) wandering calmly nearby, and even a a monkey jumping from branch to branch. It felt likee being inside a nature documentary—safe yet exciting! The resort is well-maintained, the staff are friendly, and the environment is perfect for anyone looking to relax away from the city. If you enjoy nature, adventure, and a calm atmosphere, I highly recommend staying at Milkyway Holiday Resort.

Das Areal ist wirklich traumhaft. Es ist ruhig und idyllisch in der Natur gelegen. Man kann viele Vögel, Affen und Warane entdecken. In die Innenstadt sind es 1,5 km, die wir auch ein paar Mal zu Fuß gelaufen sind. Ist in 20 Minuten entspannt machbar. Wer dazu keine Lust hat, ist mit einem eigenen Scooter oder TukTuk gut bedient. Zimmer war einfach aber schön. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Leider konnten wir die Terrasse nicht nutzen aufgrund der vielen Mosquitos.

Wer unmittelbar Restaurants und Strände vor der Haustür haben möchte, ist hier falsch. Uns hat es aber gut gefallen, etwas abgelegener zu wohnen.
