the place was very silent and cozy, had a big comfortable bed. We were allowed to check in earlier and check out later which was very useful when travelling with a baby. Got some really great tips from the owner, what to see, where to eat

Nice, clean modern house

Jeroen was super friendly and helpful. Spacious and clean interior with everything we needed in the kitchen. Lovely sunset and day-time views.

Jeroen was an excellent host and his houses are spectacular. Our group had a nightmare on the day of arrival in Madeira where we booked a villa on booking.com that decided on arrival that they couldn’t accommodate us without explanation. So, we booked Blooming Botanic Houses last minute and Jeroen made a special effort to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Despite checking in to the property 10 minutes after booking, the place was perfectly clean, beautifully furnished and just what we were looking for. Jeroen provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and attractions, helping make our week wonderful.

Difficult to find issues with the houses but just some general points to be aware of, primarily the location. Situated in the lovely town of Calheta, the property has a wealth of attractions close by including great beaches, walks and restaurants but not many of these are easy to access by foot so a car is essential - particularly given the steep hills to get to and out of the property (not uncommon in Madeira!). Also, the houses are not huge but we found them a perfect size for 3 people - you get good value for money considering the quality of the furnishings, utensils, comfortable beds and beautiful terraces and gardens.

Very convenient new apartment, great modern design positively differentiating from other rustical homes. Well equiped kitchen, comfortable bed, lots of space. terrace with see view was fantastic
