"Nice place, shame about the damp/mould."

6.0

Very comfy bed and all basic amenities required to prepare simple meals. Nice view from the pod. Hot tub was good, and on for my arrival. Keys in the door so a smooth check in experience.

No contact in advance to share directions, etc, and communication when I contacted them for information was not particularly friendly. There was a damp/mould issue in the bathroom which meant a strong unpleasant smell throughout the cabin. Quite close to a busy road and train line, and close to the main house, which overlooked the pod, so it did not feel as quiet or secluded as I had hoped for.

"Lovely night away"

8.0

No fuss check in, comfy bed and hot tub.

Could do with a few more hooks and a mirror outside of bathroom.

"Lovely private pod in beautiful surroundings"

9.0

Lovely little pod with amazing views. On arrival keys were in the door. The pod was lovely and clean. The hot tub was warm and ready to use straight away. We slept really well. The bed is comfy and the area is really quiet. Breakfast on the terrace looking out over the fields was a nice end to our stay. We ate at The Maypole Inn in the nearby village. Food was lovely and staff really friendly 👍🏻

Not a dislike but the pod does get damp with condensation a bit like a caravan. Also bring your own teabags etc for a cuppa. At first I had a cold shower. It turns out the boiler wasn’t plugged in/on. The plug is in the top right kitchen cupboard. We plugged it in and once the boiler was on and fired up it was fine.

Lovely location very peaceful! Very comfortable bed and a lovely place to relax. Amazing shower!

Usually stay in Air B&Bs so expected there to be some teabags and some wash stuff in the shower so had to go out and make an essentials trip very soon after we got there when we were hoping just to get in and relax and shut the world out as we are used to having essentials provided in simular properties that are cheaper per night but apart from that this place is perfect! 🙂

"Very disappointing"

1.0

Travelled down to break up the journey down to Cornwall where we were staying the next day for a week. Reviews were so excellent we thought we’d found a gem. Sadly we were very disappointed and didn’t stay. The pod is tiny and no way for 2 people and a dog. The BBQ was still full of the old coals from the previous person. There was a smell of either farmyard or sewage inside the pod. Trying to find the place was impossible without the name of the house where it’s located so suggest Booking.com add this to avoid any further confusion. The hot tub overlooks a dark overgrown area of bushes, grass and brambles so no way a nice place to relax We literally took one look and drove away and carried onto Cornwall where we found far superior accommodation for less than the pod.
