Countryside Pod Retreat

Amazing Scenery, Hot Tub, Big Comfortable Bed, Netflix/Smart TV, Kitchen/Dining Area, All-In-One Bathroom

Everything was clean, the bed was made lovely upon arrival, lovely little decor pieces added to make it feel very homely, the mini heater at the bottom of the bed was a godsend when it started to get chilly outside, hottub was ready and clean, a few flys but to be be expected as the location but didn't bother us atall a net is provided to help, the bed so very comfy , was very cosy in the evening with the curtains pulled the under bed lighting lit up the bedroom area, beautiful little pod scenery is lovely, very peaceful! Definitely recommend!

We feel the only downfall is it wasn't that easy to find even with instructions from the owner, we didn't seem to see any signs I feel if people where told Buckland farm they would be able to find a lot easier! Also the shower my partner had a shower before entering the hottub and then it was my turn but there seemed to be no hot water, I just had a cold shower so wasn't that bothered and Anthony said upon arrival if there's anything we need/or help to contact him but I didn't think it was that big an issue to want to disturb him,

It is out of the way from any towns, which was lovely for us, as it was nice and quiet, but the nearest towns were only a short car drive away. It was our first experience of a pod, so didn’t really no what to expect, it was cosy but they had made great use of the space, there was plenty of utensils etc and I managed to cook two great meals with the appliances available. The bed was very comfortable, with a television on the wall at the foot of the bed, great for a evening in bed watching a film and a lazy morning in bed with a cuppa, looking out over the fields. The host responded promptly to my messages ( apologies, as I did send a few 😂) and we did see the hosts Dad whilst staying there and he gave us some ideas of walks, thank you, the canal walk was lovely.

Condensation in the pod is bad but they do supply a dehumidifier.

Quirky property we really liked and the hot tub was a bonus too. We would stay again now we know the location and bring tea bags!

Please add the name of the adjoining property on this site address as we would have found it easily then (maps link on here shows the wrong side of the road and we had to phone owner) Also, we would have really appreciated a tea bag or coffee sachet as we were only staying 1 night and hadn’t brought anything so had to pop out for very basics.

Beautiful little get away will most definitely be booking again the host was extremely helpful when needed and left us to enjoy the experience very very happy with the whole Experience so thank you
