Traditional Croft house

The cottage was comfy and cosy, with everything we needed. The central location was perfect for exploring all over the Uists. The beds were comfortable, the shower was fantastic and the log fire was very welcome after a breezy day out on the islands. The hosts were so welcoming and the home cooked scones were a lovely, generous touch that made us feel even more at home. We would definitely stay again.

We had to drive past the house twice to be sure we had the right place because we couldn’t see the house number from the road, but this was a minor detail and not really a problem.

The place was nice and warm upon arrival

There were no tea towels provided which was awkward and the toilet does not flush very well at all.

Lovely and warm house with traditional features. Very quiet location. The house was clean and had what we needed.

Nothing major. The shower cubicle door seems a bit temparamental.

Location was lovely and quiet. Morag was so kind and came out at gone 10.30 in the evening when we couldn’t quite find the property. She came with eggs, milk and tea bags!!! Property was lovely and warm, kitchen had everything we needed.

A very small thing the pillows weren’t the best. I think a slightly better quality pillow always makes sleeping easier.Took a little while getting used to no upstairs toilet but not a problem.

Good central location. Scones were lovely! Well equipped house. Cosy and warm!
