There was nothing to dislike

Its a bit rough and ready, not very relaxing and expensive for what it is The beds don’t have much height clearance and its a bit claustrophobic in bed Our main issue was We booked 3 months in advance but had to change our date we requested a new booking the day after we booked as our offas dyke itinerary needed to change The owner refused to change the date and refund the old date so in effect we paid twice for one night. We didn’t have much choice as it was the only place we could find that fitted with our hike At the last minute she tried to cancel our booking she said she was double booked - this would have left us completely stuck for our hike. In the end she relented as we pointed out our email trail and that we had booked several months before

GBSimple, authentic and very comfortable. I loved the wood burner and roaming animals. Bed was very comfortable. I have recommended the camp to my sister as I think her family would really enjoy all the facilities.
Nothing comes to mind. A gate on the balcony steps would be great so we could have the door open and not worry about our dogs wandering off. But obviously that’s not crucial
GBIt was a unique experience and was lovely to just get away with the partner for quality time, my partner would like to make it a yearly thing.
There wasn’t anything I could say I didn’t enjoy.
