"Lovely place to relax"

Lovely place to relax and just chill out. River Esk with the stepping stones was lovely. The owners had left fruit cake, tea, coffee and milk which was a nice touch. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to just relax and take it easy. The pub was open when we visited and was nice and cosy with their log fire burning away.

What an absolutely beautiful property. Fantastic decor, warm and cosy with some lovely touches. The cake was gorgeous :-) and proper milk in a proper glass bottle.

The shower was the only letdown. Very little water pressure and the temperature control was very hit and miss :-( If the shower was better this would have scored 20 out of 10 it really is that good

"Probably lovely in summer but far to cold inside property at this time of year"

Was lovely and clean

Too cold had heating on full, maybe a rug in living area might help, also had to stack pillows against bedroom window as draft was cold, the bed far to hard
