Stepping Stones Cottage

I loved the home from home feeling. Everything had been thought of even down to shower gel which was very much appreciated due to me forgetting to pack my own! Loved the vanity area next to the bathroom! The living room/kitchen were very spacious and everything was easy to use, very clean & comfortable. The bedroom was lovely and cosy with plenty of pillows and cushions, the bed was very comfortable also! The shower was easy to use, lots of pressure and perfect temperature. 10/10!

Quaint village, surrounded by north York moors , close to Whitby . Friendly Pub. Sweet treats on arrival.

Road noise, could have provide instructions for cooker & Shower . Bit tricky to navigate . Although owner said accommodate dogs , rules for them to remain in kitchen area only . We couldn’t really settle knowing our family pet was sleeping in the kitchen , as he’s a rescue dog, one of us stayed with him.

Beautifully decorated and comfy bed big shower and lovely fluffy towels and delicious sweet treats.

Struggled to park our car outside property and access to the would’ve been nice as it was a very hot day. There was no basics supplied like salt & pepper and only 2 teabags and 2 coffee sachets. I expected a cafetière also no corkscrew.

Very comfortable and clean. Great shower plenty of room. Fantastic location with a very reasonable pub a stones throw away.

Lovely fresh decor, cozy, lovely treats on arrival !

Very attractive location- a good base for exploring both the inland areas of the National Park and also the coast. The cottage is spotlessly clean and well equipped. As other have commented, it’s a nice touch that came and milk is provided.Although there is no outside space, the village green is immediately opposite.

Small, peaceful village next to a pub. Fresh milk and cakes much appreciated.

Pub shut on Mondays and Tuesdays thus had to cook - no info and short on facilities. Single glazed and noisy. No info on how things worked. Unable to sit outside.

Lovely cosy cottage which was clean, comfortable and the perfect base to explore the area from. Lovely gesture with the sweet treats which were very tasty.

The cottage is finished to a very high quality standard. Everything you need and some nice touches and complimentary cakes.

There was nothing to dislike .
