"Faultless property warm welcome."

We loved the warm welcome, the standard of the cottage was fantastic. comfortable bed, heating was on before we got there so the property was lovely and warm as the weather outside was snowy and cold. Close to a pub and lovely local shop. A summer stay for us next time to appreciate the surrounding countryside with walks!

Spacious, well appointed and decorated. Lovely fruit cake and rocky road dessert were a nice touch. Heated radiators that we could turn up or down were excellent and would easily heat the property throughout the winter.

The property is on the main road and while traffic through the night is probably absolutely minimal, due to road closures around Danby it felt that cars were going past most of the night. Certainly not the owners fault just unfortunate circumstances. Only half a toilet roll left for us so inadequate for our stay, ideally leave a couple of rolls for guests. A few basic toiletries for showering would be good too but maybe this is something we should have brought.

Beautiful place, really clean and cosy. Lovely comfy bed and great facilities.

Just a little far out of Whitby (can't be helped of course) taxis were a little expensive

Comfortable and warm cottage. Nice bathroom facilities and comfortable bed.Nicely equipped kitchen facilities . The sweet treats were a lovely touch. Close access to bridlepath walks for our dog.

The spotlights in the lounge are quite bright if you want to watch TV. A stand lamp in the corner by the door would be a good addition. Also the dining table is a bit wobbly could do with a tighten up.

Spotlessly Clean, very cosy cottage with comfy bed, lovely kitchen and bathroom. Cottage close to the centre of village and Pub, great area for walks from the door.
