Borneo Jungle Adventure

Amazing location set further out than the other lodges so you're very much the only boat a lot of the time. The staff are amazing and extremely welcoming and accommodating. The food is delicious and plentiful. The lodge was exactly what we were looking for with its surroundings and wildlife, supported by our brillirant guide

Beds weren't the comfiest along with the pillows but I think we're just used to these being softer. Please don't come here expecting a luxury resort as this is very much about being amongst nature and its wildlife. Apart from that everything was spot on

This was a wonderful and authentic stay. The hotel host is lovely and his son Mark Anthony the best guide. Mark Anthony’s wife is an amazing cook and all in all this was a wonderful stay that we will remember always! My daughter and I planted a tree on the grounds and we loved our stay so much. Valentino the boatman was super skilled and Mark Anthony is very knowledgable and lots of fun. They will all hold a special place in our hearts.

Food was excellent. Staff were all great and welcoming. Rooms were very comfortable. We were not expecting air con in the room but it was much appreciated. Camp was in good location.

There was some clearing of the forest happening while we were staying to build a new cabin, and the sound of chainsaws and diggers really ruined sounds of nature we wanted to experience. The clearance also meant we were not able to go on jungle walks. We did a village tour which was a 10 min walk around the town at the jetty which I don’t think was worth the cost or very informative of life of someone living in the area. I wish we were told about the clearing beforehand so we could’ve found somewhere else to stay and have a better experience of the jungle.

Lo mejor del alojamiento sin duda fue Mark y la amable familia que lo lleva. Todos siempre sonriendo y super atentos. Mark se esfuerza muchísimo por hacerse entender, incluso chapurrea algo de español! El entorno es precioso, una lástima solo haber pasado una noche allí.

Una experiencia salvaje, en plena jungla. Los “narigudos” se pueden ver desde el comedor. El personal de 10! Las excursiones por el rio son ina experiencia inolvidable!

Las habitaciones son un poco “rusticas”, pero también tiene su encanto

El trato espectacular de todo el staff, en especial el de Mark, nuestro anfitrion y guía en las excursiones en barca, quien nos trató de maravilla en la estancia y quien junto al piloto de la barca Rossi, nos ayudaron en las excursiones por el río a ver un montón de animales salvajes.

There was no electricity in the room upon arrival, and the electricity also went out at night. Without electricity, the fan in the room wouldn't run, it became unbearably hot, and you couldn't shower. Dirty room, mold on the walls and ceiling. No Wi-Fi in the room. Insufficient food, leftovers from the previous day. Excursions weren't worth it, always the same route, and the guide wasn't good. If you reported a problem, they weren't addressed. They became aggressive when you told the truth about the cleanliness of the rooms and the fact that they were far too expensive. Some excursions required a fee, even though they were listed as included on the website. Optional excursions were very expensive, much more expensive than those offered at neighboring accommodations.

It was in the jungle. Monitored lizards and monkeys came to visit.

Bed was rock hard and the pillows were a piece of hard foam. Food was generally served cold.

El entorno era precioso,la comida riquísima y Marc y su familia eran encantadores. El río ha sido una experiencia inolvidable.Tuvimos la oportunidad de ver a los 5 grandes.

No me gustó que para ver elefantes haya que pagar tanto dinero extra .Debería estar incluido en el coste que ya de por si tampoco es económico. De cualquier manera aunque es fantástico poder ver elefantes no se justifica el precio abusivo de la actividad.
