Borneo Jungle Adventure

Så spännande att bo i djungeln! Inga bilvägar går hit, man blir hämtad med båt och tillbringar stora delar av dagen på floden. Djur hälsar på, apor kommer nära och det är magiskt att färdas på vattnet och in i djuren och naturens värld. Personalen var så trevlig och tillmötesgående och vår guide Marc gjorde resan oförglömlig. Vi såg elefanterna bara ett par meter bort från båten. Otroligt god mat!

Det blir väldigt varmt i rummen på dagen men man är ju ändå inte där. På nätterna är det väldigt skönt, trots att man inte har aircondition. Över förväntan!

The hosts are absolutely wonderful! Our guide Kai was fantastic - excellent English and very knowledgeable about all wildlife of the area, large & small. He was an incredible wildlife spotter and they went out of their way to make sure we saw as many animals & wild places as possible - the river cruises are magic, remember to take binoculars! (The lodge has ones you can rent.) Seeing orangutans in the wild was a magical, once-in-a-lifetime experience, and Kai found us 8!! The staff at the lodge are also just lovely and helpful and the main room of the lodge is really comfortable and beautiful nestled in the jungle.

The bathroom in the room is adequate but basic (which we expected, they are literally in the jungle). Also would have liked to try more local Malay-style food (eg spicy noodles).

las habitaciones que se supone que estan recien hechas , estan fatal tanto los suelos , las paredes el baño.. todas las instalaciones fatal y sucias.. la cama y almohadas super incomodas, tampoco hay agua caliente y se oye todo de las habitaciones de al lado.. La comida la hacen muy justa , insuficiente para las personas que estabamos alli Me parece un robo las excursiones que te venden aparte , te las cobran carisimas y encima te llevan a los mismos sitios que ya tienes pagado con el paquete de alojamiento, pero como te las venden segun llegas al alojamiento las compras por no saber a donde vas a ir. te dicen que vas a ver animales diferentes y ves lo mismo.. engañan a todos los turistas.... mi experiencia muy mala, no recomiendo este sitio a nadie

Extra tours are expensive. Construction going on. Did not like the pillow.

For the middle of the jungle, they have a great setup for all you need. The meals were fantastic and the staff super friendly. We were so lucky to see the Borneo 5 and the highlight was some orangutans and a herd of 50+ Pygmy Elephants. A wonderful trip. Mark our tour guide was fantastic.

Location and super friendly staff. Having our own boat for the trips up and down the river turned out to be a massive bonus.

Lack of air con, the property was very dated and currently in the middle of a building site. I appreciate we were in the middle of a jungle and we are used to more comfort at home but the buildings were in desperate need of modernisation. The pathways were dangerously slippery.
