Good location

The apartment is in a very old and neglected building. Therefore, the bathroom and toilet were very uncomfortable. The air conditioner in one room was noisy and leaked water. There was no internet because the Wi-Fi didn't work. Although the owner apologized and tried to make amends, it was a difficult three days for us.

Możliwe że nie doczytałem w ofercie zaznaczając 2 łazienki ponieważ jest jedną łazienka (toaleta z prysznicem) i jedna toaleta.Bylismy w 4 osoby(2 rodziny) i daliśmy radę. Nie wpływa to na moją ogólną ocenę ale może komuś się przyda taka informacja

Close to everything and restaurants

Appartment was dirty on arrival, we had to clean bathroom and toilets , all utensils needed a clean, There was a pop up bar directly under the appartment with music and noise till after 3am difficult to sleep

That said, the hosts were okay— not overly attentive, but not rude either. The saving grace of this apartment is its location. It’s in a great spot, close to key attractions and everything you need.

The biggest issue was cleanliness— the space didn’t feel properly cleaned, which made the stay uncomfortable. On top of that, there was a serious mosquito problem, making it difficult to relax, especially at night. The internet was unreliable, which was frustrating for both work and streaming. Another major downside was the noise. A nearby bar played loud music late into the night, making it hard to sleep. If you’re a light sleeper, this might not be the best choice.

The hosts were absolutely wonderful. My friends and I had booked a trip to Catania without knowing that it was the weekend of the feast of St. Agata, the patron saint of Catania. The festivities were a lot, and they affected the bus schedule to the airport. The hosts responded to my panicked late night message about the bus schedule, and even checked in with me in the morning around 6am to make sure we got to the bus fine. They were very attentive and helpful. As for the apartment and the location itself, both were great. The apartment reminded us all of what an italian Nonna's apartment should look like, which made us feel instantly at home. From the front door, the piazza del duomo is a quick four minute walk away. Delicious restaurants surround the apartment, and the hosts left a bunch of solid recommendations.
