HEELTEVREDE Self-Catering farmhouse

I liked being on a farm and the spaciousness of the accommodation. It is a Farmhouse that could work well in summer but during a cold winter nights it is not very comfortable. The price was really good. The Hostess was friendly.

The Family Bathroom is not in a safe usable condition. Drain is blocked so the water collects in the shower. The shower tiles/walls are painted, and the paint is peeling. I strongly recommend that it be repaired before the place is rented out again. There are places where the floor is uneven. It is a danger. All of us at some point tripped and almost fell. I did not like the fact that we were informed that they punched in R200.00 electricity and that we would be responsible to add more if it ran out. I had no idea how the usage would be for 4 adults. Thankfully we were out all day, so it lasted. A gravel road to the Farm might not be every one's cup of tea. I did not mind as it was only a few kilometers.

Excellent location, just off the N1, was a great stop over for our trip with our 3 fur babies, the home is private and well fenced in, making it ideal with our animals. Home is spacious and very clean, we loved the corner bath :)

Everything was perfect, not far from N1, nice place, I am going to book again the place next year 👌👌👌
