HEELTEVREDE Self-Catering farmhouse

Very comfortable stay. Had all that we needed. Beds was very comfortable. Place was very secluded so there was no city noise or neighbours keeping us awake. Place was very well kitted for a self catering. Very clean place I come from a old farm house and this made it feel like home. Wide open spaces and a great stoep to relax on. My doggo enjoyed it very much too and needs a mention as not many places have pet friendly stay. Will definitely stay here again.

Given this is an old house and some things could use a little "fixing". When we stayed there it was raining quite hard and the roof leaked a little in the dining room. It did not bother us but worth a mention. Got a little worried over the geysers pulling electricity but the host explained very nicely that they were on timers and she even provided me with a token to refill power so not actually bad thing at all.

Garden and felt like home

The spacious farmhouse and well kept garden in a quiet, tranquil area was like home away from home. I loved the veranda!! Close to the city and having a washing machine was a bonus!

Though I loved the big corner bath, the men would vote for an upgrade on the shower heads. Though still sufficient! More than enough hot water for a big family. Bathrooms are neat and tidy.

The large fully fenced garden was perfect for our stay with our 3 dogs. The area was peaceful and safe. We enjoyed our visit 🙂

Friendly reception by Adel and Pieter. Nice big 100 year old farm house. Very spacious. Neat and have everything you need. Close to the highway, but you experience the relaxation and serenity of the farm. Will definitely stay there again.

Location was on a farm. Our 1st experience on a farm, so not sure what to expect.

Could have done with some high speed fans, as it was very hot, and ceiling fans were very slow.
