It was advertising as a 2 bed with only one bed and a blue chair in the corner as the second “bed”

There is ample parking on the street outside of the house. The French Quarter is within walking distance or a short drive. The 1 bedroom apartment was clean and had a complete kitchen! A 4 burner stove top/oven, plates, cups, utensils. The price is reasonable for all you get, i.e. free parking, proximity to downtown New Orleans, public transit, ability to cook if you want. I definitely recommend staying here.

The only thing I would recommend to the hosts is to get some clothes hangers! You supplied all the kitchen necessities. Please get some hangers. Also, a couch or a couple of comfortable chairs to watch the television or relax while in the living room would be nice.

Location is convenient and the host responded fairly quickly

No microwave, no body wash and no extra blankets. It’s a bit cold

We told the owner in advance that we would be arriving at around 12pm, but the owner never told us that there were four different units on this address! Repeated attempts to follow the code given to us by the owner failed to open the room and woke up the other tenants in the room! It was one o 'clock in the morning! We tried calling the owner and leaving a message, but there was no reply! It was very, very frustrating standing on a strange city street in the middle of the night! until I went to the Email to check the code that I found the owner sent Email on the 7 pm( we were on the plane)had changed the code and told me that the room was in the backyard. This was the worst hotel experience we have ever had!

Location was great, as was the room access itself - kitchen / bathroom were clean.

The overall room wasnt really set for two people - only one chair? The other lay down one appeared to be broken - or we couldnt sit on it properly - the only other two chairs were high bar stools, not exactly comfortable to sit and chill. The bed was supported by a brick - the pillows were both so flat that it appeared to be non-existent - we actually had to purchase 2 to get some sleep. The spares in the wardrobe had stains on them and no covers - and were also so flat they would need to be folded up to use. The room was fine and as described, however would suggest getting an extra chair so two persons can actually sit down - another as in the room would be perfect - and some new pillows and this would be a much more relaxing stay.
