Modern Rustic Countryside Downstairs Guesthouse

Nothing I liked about this property all they care about is your money! Was very unclean and the host does not respond to anything! Out of my entire life this is definitely the worst experience I’ve had and do not recommend staying here wouldn’t give them a dollar.

Horrible host

Nice location

The place was dirty. There was spiders everywhere. There was no stove nor kitchen sink. No silverware or dishes to use.No heat. They did provide one heater for the whole place but kept the AC on the whole time and had to wait about 4 hours after arrival for them to reset the Wi-Fi so we could use that

Absolutely nothing

Everything. The entire place smells like MOLD and mildew. Upon our arrival, the home had not been “cleaned” we waited two hours after checkout time for someone to show up. When I originally called the owner he chose to minimally respond via message. When I asked what should we do while we wait as we’d been traveling and he responded “there’s a bar down the street” He did refund the cleaning fee however the place was never actually clean. The amount of bugs in the place is insane. Don’t bring your dog because the grass is so high it comes to my knees. If you stay downstairs you have no access to the temperature. Only those upstairs. If they even sneeze up there it sounds like a hurricane downstairs. There is not much privacy. On our final night there, our friend awake to bugs IN THEIR BED. We left a day early. This entire experience felt like fraud as I’m not even sure it’s a safe place to stay given the amount of mold and potential rot from previous flooding. I have several pictures of the condition of their property. Booking.com did nothing to help. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Absolutely nothing

Very dirty. Lost of mold in various places. Was told one room was under construction and the bed was in the kitchen next to the fridge. Dead insects and cobwebs everywhere.

The location was convenient for what my family had planned for the weekend. Nice hot shower and the ac was good.

There wasn't any way to cook a meal. The grill was out of propane. My car got infested with ants from being parked outside with nothing even inside for ants to be in my car. Some minor landscaping would be good for the spring and summer. Just some minor TLC would go a long way.

The location

Wasn’t cleaned at all, the host was no help, the air conditioning was either broken or host didn’t care to turn on. The vents were dirty. No lightbulbs in lamps. Terrible place for my children. I am so upset with having paid for something that was absolutely bad. I have pictures and all.

The only nice thing about it was the big bedroom

Literally everything, it stunk horribly, there were spiders everywhere and hardly any appliances worked. There were multiple locked rooms, and it claimed to have 2 bedrooms, but the one bed was in the middle of the kitchen and living room area. I'd never recommend this place to anyone, it claimed to have a kitchenette, and there wasn't even a working sink in the "kitchen" The upstairs neighbors were also rude, they dumped beer right on top of one of us through the upper porch The pictures make this place seem so much better than it is, but in reality, it's just a hot, stinky mess. There's no temperature control, and not even the ceiling fan worked. One blade was broken, and the light was even broken.. the bed was definitely also broken, considering it sunk in and the middle was hard as a rock
