Modern Rustic Countryside Downstairs Guesthouse

The location was the only thing that was ok about this rental.

Not recommend to stay here. The door was kicked in on the 1st night and broke the molding around the door. I called the owner and sent photos of the damage. His response was not what I expected, and he acted like he didn't even care. The 2nd night, while we were away, someone broke in again, so the local police were called to make a report. When the police arrived, the house was made secure, and the owner was called again, but would not answer. After some photos from the police and sent to the investigator, we were told that it would be best if we gathered our things and stayed in a hotel for the remaining 2 days. The basement rental was described as a 2 br and fully functional kitchen, which was not true. It was a 1 br and a 2nd bed placed next to the kitchen. The house smelled like mold, which was found in the 2nd locked br when the police arrived. The only water was from the 1 bathroom because the sink in the kitchen had no water. I would not suggest anyone stay in this house. It was very dangerous and a waste of money.

There was popcorn under the chairs from passed guests and a random sock under the bed definitely needs to be cleaned more

We didn’t stay but 5 minutes. The whole house smelled like mold and mildew. Ot was advertised as a 2 bedroom however the second bedroom was closed off by a bed in the living room. We moved the bed and opened the door to the second bedroom only to find it flooded and literally destroyed. When we were leaving someone else showed up and said they were booked to stay there!!We left and got a hotel. And the property owner won’t give us a refund. Absolutely pathetic.

Very spacious and nice that it has a pool table, dart and cinema sofas.

Kitchen has no good working sink and is very very small. Place had lots of ants. Also you can not control the temp in the room. One side was warm, other places cold. Bathroom icecold. Place is not to clean either and kitchen is ill equiped. But games and space make up for a lot.

Never got to see property. Double booked

The property owner was rude, EXTREMELY. Ant infested. Some foul smelling liquid dripping from walls. The place was disgusting. Smell was literally nauseating. Dog poop all over the driveway. And the owner told me my existence made his vomit, vomit.
