Peaceful refuge homestay

Peaceful Refuge is a gem in the countryside. Grounds were creatively developed and gorgeous with a bridge, lake and thick greenery all around. The bungalows were small but very comfortable with a great bed, wonderful shower and ample storage. Breakfasts were superb, delicious with multiple choices. Dinner was also available and delectable with very high quality and fair prices. We felt no need to eat anywhere else. The area was nice for walking and easily accessible for taxis. Except for an occasional rooster it was very quiet and restful. Our hosts, Tiep and Huyen were lovely as were their children. Tiep allowed me to watch as he prepared dinner which was like a Vietnamese cooking demonstration. The neighbors were also friendly and welcoming as we walked around the area. We would love to stay here again. It's a short taxi ride to Hua Lu Old Town and night market.

Nous avons aimé le cadre exceptionnel, la vue depuis notre chambre donnait sur un petit plan d’eau avec piton calcaire. Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse des propriétaires et leurs supers conseils sur toutes activités à faire.

Este alojamiento ha sido sin duda nuestro favorito de todo el viaje a Vietnam. El entorno es simplemente espectacular, rodeado de naturaleza, un auténtico remanso de paz y tranquilidad. Las cabañas son super espaciosas, muy bonitas decoradas y con un ventanal que da a un lago. Despertar con unas vistas así es una maravilla. Pero sin duda, lo más destacable de las 3 noches que pasamos allí fue la familia tan maravillosa que nos acogió. Nos hicieron sentir como en casa, la amabilidad y generosidad con la que nos recibieron nunca la olvidaremos. Nos llevamos un grandísimo recuerdo de este lugar y esta familia tan bonita que hizo que nuestra estancia en Ninh Bihn fuese muy especial. Aparte, la comida era espectacular y como no había más huéspedes pudimos hacer el check out por la noche, darnos una ducha e irnos fresquitos a coger la guagua nocturna. Un lugar inolvidable, con una familia increíble. 100% recomendado!!! Esperamos volver algún día :)

The rooms are very nice and also the views from them. In general it is a very beautiful homestay surrounded by wonderful vegetation

La famiglia che ci ha ospitato è deliziosa come il cibo che preparano. Oltre ad averci noleggiato lo scooter ci hanno aiutato con il transfer fino ad Hanoi occupandosi di tutto. Le camere bungalow sono immerse nel verde a fianco ad un lago e ad una roccia, tipica del paesaggio di Ninh Binh.

Beautiful accommodation In a beautiful setting. Family owned and run with attention to detail and first class services and attitude.

The only thing we didn't like was that we didn't stay longer.

We had a super relaxing stay here - the hosts were so so kind and accommodating and cooked delicious food for us. They gave us great recommendations for daytime activities and it was amazing to come back from our activities each day to such a beautiful little retreat. 10/10 would recommend.

Phòng ở sạch sẽ, rộng rãi, view đẹp, yên bình. Chủ home có gu và nhiệt tình. Có điểm nhấn khác với các home khác về bể bơi, vườn cây rộng, không gian thoáng, phù hợp nghỉ dưỡng.

They are incredibly kind and welcoming. My bus was early and I showed up at 3 in the morning. They let me into an extra room until mine was ready at no extra charge. Their advice regarding scooter rental, places to visit, the order and time of day to visit them are spot on. The food is fantastic; it's way better than all the restaurants in town I visited. The room is as advertised, clean with all the required utilities, and a stunning view. The bed moves a little bit within the frame but is very comfortable to sleep on. Truly a peaceful place with a warm loving family. I would visit again and recommend to all who comes to Ninh Bình.
