Peaceful refuge homestay

La cabaña y el entorno es muy bonito y todo está muy limpio. La familia que lo lleva es muy amable y servicial, el último día nos dejaron dejar las mochilas y darnos una ducha. El desayuno muy rico.

Está bastante lejos del centro, necesitas moto o taxi. No hay piscina común , solo una pequeña fuera de la cabaña que no es muy útil .

La struttura è meravigliosamente immersa nel verde. La famiglia che la gestisce è gentile e disponibile, ci ha addirittura fatto fare un check in molto anticipato. Possibilità di noleggio bici e scooter in loco, lavanderia velocissima e colazione fatta sul momento con buonissima frutta fresca! Le camere sono molto pulite e questo ha fatto sì che, nonostante il verde esterno, non ci fossero insetti di alcun tipo in casa.

We had a beautiful bungalow in the grounds of this wonderful homestay. It is a 10 minute drive to the town of Tam Coc but our host Teab organised a car and driver to get us around to all of the sites we wanted to see, and at a very good price! The homestay itself is as it's namesake very peaceful. The accommodation is all very clean and comfortable and we had a beautiful view from the window. Our cool tub was filled up ready for our return from the days adventures, which was wonderful after the heat of the day. Our host Teab is a great chef. We had delicious breakfasts and coffee and we ate at the homestay two out of three evenings and the food was local, fresh and amazing!! I would definitely recommend this homestay to anyone wanting to visit the local sights as well as having a relaxing few days.

The homestay owners are just about the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I know there are a lot of fake reviews in Vietnam so read this with the knowledge that it was written by a real person who actually stayed here. Upon arrival I immediately left my phone in the taxi and the homestay owners somehow managed to get in contact with the company and get it back extremely quickly despite the late time. I ate in the homestay almost daily and their food is very good and especially amazing considering the very fair price. The pictures of the rooms on booking.com truly don’t do them justice, they’re very spacious and clean with the prettiest view and quaint decor along with a stone tub that’s great for cooling off in summer. The property location is slightly off the main city of Hoa Lu/ Ninh Binh and that makes it quite private and peaceful (hence the name). Another unadvertised bonus is that you can see fireflies at night! I cannot recommend this enough, if you come near Ninh Binh and value lovely, professional and helpful hosts while having a private bungalow with a gorgeous view, this is the place to be. I’ve especially felt safe as a solo female traveler!

There’s nothing that I truly disliked. Be advised that the bathroom doesn’t have aircon and the road leading to the homestay is a bit sketchy but those are more of a disclaimer rather than a complaint

Staying at Peaceful Refuge Homestay was an amazing experience! The name really says it all—this place is a true haven of peace. The views from the room were stunning, and I loved having my own private mini pool to relax in. The food was fresh and delicious, and the family who runs the homestay made me feel so welcome and at home. I was so comfortable that I extended my stay! The free bicycles were a great touch too, making it easy to explore the area at my own pace. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

THE VIEW from our room was incredible. I could have stared outside all day and have been happy. The owner and his family are incredibly kind, and even brought us some pizza the night the power went out due to a tropical storm. They also are wonderful chefs and prepare delicious meals on sight. The little private pool in front of our bungalow, filled with fresh, cold mountain water was so refreshing to sit and relax in.

For me, the bed was a little too firm, but my husband liked it. Also, it's a bit strange the way the bathrooms are set up. They are beautiful and clean, but there are openings in the brick wall a few inches away from the neighboring bungalow's bathroom, and we could hear when someone was in there, so I'm sure they could hear when one of us was in ours as well. You can kind of see in a little bit to the neighboring bathroom, too. It all felt very awkward and we were scared to turn the light on in ours at night because of that. However, even with that problem, I still highly recommend this property as it was such a delight in every other way.
